TrueNAS Core is NAS OS that is based on FreeBSD UNIX, supports ZFS, containers (FreeBSD Jails). OpenMediaVault is a NAS OS that includes Docker containers and KVM-based VMs. add ZFS if it’s possible without redundancy. That is not the best approach for using ZFS. .
