I had a few SYOS Link inspired mouthpieces that I purchased at a good price, They were at best OK and not very inspirational to play. The normal (as far as I know) black nickel saxophone finish is an extremely thin layer of actual plating, probably the thinnest of all platings used in sax finishes.
